Weir's Lane Lavender & Apiary (WLL) is a lavender farm located 40 minutes west of Toronto in lovely West Flamborough (part of the city of Hamilton, not far from Dundas and Ancaster, at 223 Weirs Lane). We started our lavender farm in 2010 and opened the farm store in 2011. Currently, WLL grows more 5000 plants, has 200+ hazelnut trees, and maintains several bee hives. WLL provides farm tours where you will learn much about the growing of lavender and the keeping of bees. Enjoy 10+ varieties of Lavendula Angustifolia (dubbed True or English) and Lavendula Intermedia (dubbed Lavandin or French) families.
The owners of Weir's Lane Lavender and Apiary are active members of their community. Kevin (the farmer) has served on several charity and local boards of directors and has served on the executive committee for the Ontario Lavender Association. Abigail (the farmer's wife) is a professor of economics and is recognized for her research on student achievement and charitable giving. WLL is a founding farm and organizer of Farm Crawl Hamilton and is the 2012 Agritourism Business of the Year for the City of Hamilton.
WLL is a charter member of the Ontario Lavender Association.
We hope you'll enjoy our products and we look forward to greeting you at the farm!
