Fall at the Farm & Giving Thanks

This is the time of the year when the nights are cool, there is a crispness in the air and the colours of the leaves change and then fall.  It's a peaceful time at the farm.  The big crowds from the summer have gone making it a great time to visit the farm, stroll around, and to visit the farm store.  We're still busy working on the farm ... lots of plants to prepare for winter!  And we're always making product, coming up with new ideas.

Giving thanks.  We strongly believe in supporting our community -- and the Weir's Lane community stretches far and near.  Continuing on with a tradition we started last year ... from now (Thanksgiving) to Christmas, we will be donating 5% of our farm store sales (no special orders) to charity.  Our chosen three this year are: Routes Youth Centre, Hamilton Food Share, and Canadian Cancer Society.  When you visit the store, at purchase we'll give you a token to place in the jar of your choice.  We'll use the tokens to allocate our donation across the three charities.

Farm Store Hours during the fall (until Christmas): Wednesday to Sunday 10 am to 4 pm
